Sapelo Hammock Golf Club provides an excellent golf experience featuring the scenic coastal landscape. Live Oak trees hung with Spanish moss shade the fairways, and expansive marsh views that change with the tides provide the backdrop to a challenging yet accessible 18-hole course.

Conveniently located off Interstate-95, Sapelo Hammock Golf Club is just 50 minutes down the coast from Savannah and 50 minutes north of Saint Simons Island.
Golf Outing Prices
Effective January 1, 2023
All prices include green fee, cart fee and range balls.
8% Sales Tax will be added to all charges.

Outings will be charged a minimum based on the confirmed number of players up to the actual number of players that participate.
All events of 48 players or less will be charged a Tournament Fee of $20 per player. Events with 49 or more players will be charged a $1,000 Tournament Fee. Tournament Fees can be used towards Food, Beverage and / or Golf Shop purchases including Merchandise Gift Cards.
A deposit of $500 is required to confirm an outing date. We do ask that the number of anticipated participants are confirmed no later than two weeks prior to the event (this will be the minimum number of participants the tournament will be charged). A team roster must be submitted two days prior to the event. A Tournament Roster spreadsheet can be provided to the Tournament Committee.
We will provide scorecards, cart tags, rules sheets, registration sheets and alphabetical and pairings sheets for all events. We can conduct contests such as longest drive, straight drive, closest to the hole, etc. If you have any additional needs, please contact the Golf Professional and we will be happy to help in any way we can.
Food & Beverage
We will work with you to meet your food and beverage needs. We offer boxed lunches which include a sandwich, chips, and a cookie and a soft drink. The cost for this is $12 per meal.
Food Prices:
Continental Buffet with an assortment of Cinnamon Rolls, Muffins, and Danishes.
$10 per person.
Lunch Buffet of your choice:

How to Make Money
The primary goal of your event is for you to make money for the organization or charity you are supporting. We have years of experience running charity events and we have creative ways for you to make money at the event.
First, you don’t make your money on entry fees. Entry fees should be enough to cover your expenses of course fees, food and beverage, tee favors and prizes, and admin costs. How to really make money takes some work but here is how:
- Secure a Title Sponsor – Title Sponsors can have their logo added to printed materials for all golfers to see plus they get a team in the event and can have an opportunity to address the field before the start of play.
- Sell Hole Sponsors – Typically a hole sponsorship is $100 and they get a sign on one of the holes during the tournament.
- Sapelo Challenge – We can set up a contest for players to try to hit a ball into a 4-person raft. Players pay $10 for three attempts to hit a ball that stays in the raft. 25% of the proceeds go into a prize fund to pay the winners.
- Sapelo Par 3 – Players wager as to whether or not they can hit the green.
- Sapelo Eagle Hole – We choose a hole that is a possible Eagle Hole on the course. On the tee a volunteer offers the group the opportunity to move to a position on the green to putt for eagle. If everyone in the group pays $10 they may skip the drive and go directly to the green.
