Featuring 18 holes of championship golf with five sets of tees, Sapelo Hammock was designed to satisfy the needs of golfers of any skill level. In fact, the layout was ranked among the "Top 100 Courses" by Golf for Women magazine.

Built in 1999, Sapelo Hammock was the first solo effort of designer Rusty Simmons, who more than hit the mark his first time out.

A beautiful coastal layout, Sapelo Hammock is located on a scenic bluff overlooking oak-lined fairways and lush, undulating greens. The course was built along 200 acres of beautiful marshes, stunning live oaks and loblolly Pine filled land.

Though relatively tame, the front nine ends with a demanding par-5.

The back nine is highlighted by the difficult par-3 17th, Sapelo Hammock's signature hole.

The 189-yard hole features a natural island hammock, and during construction only trees were removed to protect the hole's scenic beauty.
